Corpsing Status Update

Ordinarily, I prefer to post updates about my corpsing projects here after I’ve completed them. But, this next series of corpses is taking a lot longer than normal. A typical corpse takes me less than a week to build. It’s usually as simple as melting a first layer of plastic onto the bones, then staining the flesh and giving it 24 Read More …

Growth and Values

My blog posts are generally split into three categories: horror, travel, and growth and values. The first two are pretty self-explanatory. The third category speaks to the personal journey I have gone through (and continue to go through) in figuring out who I am, the life I want to live, and how to get there. Even though this blog is Read More …

Till Death Do Us Part

I’ve completed one other corpse project after “Nasir”. I had two more miniature skeletons to use, so rather than make two individual corpses, I decided to take what I did with Nasir to the next logical step, and actually depict some necrophilia. Say “hi” to Shaun and Zach. The Build As I did with Nasir, this piece features multi-layered fleshing Read More …

Tarzan, the Feral Zombie

Fresh off my North American Road Trip, I wanted to pay homage to my feral days by making a Tarzan-esque corpse. As with Nasir, this one also had to be locked into position, but this position would be far less natural and more difficult to lock into place. Tarzan’s Construction I got him into his apish stance with rope rigging Read More …

Bones, Hansel, and Mini Hanging Meat

Here are three more corpses that I don’t have a whole lot to say about. Mini Hanging Meat The “Mini Hanging Meat” is a miniature version of Casey. I have yet to find appropriately scaled chains or clothing for him, and I haven’t decided on a name. Bones Bones was a quick corpse I built for Green Bay Fear, and Read More …

Nasir, a Sex Doll for Necrophiliacs

I’ve been saying for a long time that once I got the hang of corpse-building, that I would eventually make a sex doll for necrophiliacs. I wasn’t joking. Allow me to introduce “Nasir”. Nasir’s Namesake There’s no shortage of cute guys I could have named him after. I chose Nasir, a character from Spartacus played by Pana Hema Taylor. I Read More …

Brodie, the Disemboweled Corpse

This corpse was inspired by the movie Deathgasm. I’ve named him after the main character, but it was Brodie’s aunt who is the real inspiration for the corpse. During the scene that includes the epic dildo fight, Brodie disembowels his possessed aunt. Her intestines spill to the floor and she proceeds to walk right through them. The Build This corpse Read More …

Two and a Half Months In

I wager this is a long overdue status update. I can’t believe I’ve avoided writing anything here for six weeks. Part of the explanation is an utter want for something worthwhile to say. But the days bleed from one to the next. Most days, I’ve no idea what day of the week it is. Not that it would matter. I Read More …

Distractions

I’ve managed to maintain a good mood now for about a week and a half. I got a boost from my most recent trip to Nicolet National Forest, and have been supplementing that boost with various distractions. The Forest Effect Last week Wednesday, Remy and I made a third trip up to Nicolet in two months. The night before, I Read More …

Hitchhiker Kyle, the Newest Addition to My Family of Corpses

With my law practice winding down, I found myself with far too much time on my hands. Most of the work I still have to do to effectuate this transition doesn’t need to be done until June. That left me sitting on the couch, flipping channels, and lamenting the lack of decent daytime programming. I decided to build one last corpse before Read More …
